♥ Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the CoWatch browser extension and the pages at this domain (together, "CoWatch"), operated by Pongkorn Thanari, Thailand ("we", "us"). By installing or using CoWatch you agree to them.
1. What CoWatch does
CoWatch synchronises video playback between two browsers. It reads the playback position and play state of the video you are already watching and sends that timing information to the person you have chosen to watch with, so the two players stay aligned.
CoWatch does not provide, host, stream, store, download, decrypt or redistribute video content of any kind. Each user plays video from their own account with their own provider. CoWatch is not a substitute for a subscription to any service.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must comply with the terms of service of any platform you use CoWatch alongside. Those terms are between you and that provider.
- You must have the right to access the content you are watching.
- You must not use CoWatch to circumvent access controls, geographic restrictions, digital rights management, or account-sharing limits.
- You must not resell, sublicense, or publicly distribute your licence key.
- You must not use CoWatch to harass another person. The chat feature sends messages directly to the one person you have connected with; you are responsible for what you send.
3. Licence
The free version is provided at no cost. A Premium purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the premium features on computers you control, for as long as the product operates.
We may revoke a licence obtained fraudulently, charged back, refunded, or distributed publicly. We will not revoke a validly purchased licence for any other reason.
4. Payment
Premium costs US$5 as a single payment. Orders are fulfilled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as merchant of record and handle payment, invoicing and applicable sales tax. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction itself.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Availability
CoWatch relies on services we operate and on third parties, and connections between two home internet connections are not always possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and premium features may occasionally be unavailable for reasons outside our control — including a streaming provider changing their website in a way that breaks compatibility.
Where a change of that kind permanently removes a service you paid for, and we cannot restore it within a reasonable period, contact us and we will discuss a refund even outside the normal window.
6. No warranty
CoWatch is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer, which vary by country and which we do not attempt to exclude.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of CoWatch is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Privacy
See our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept a change, uninstall the extension.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
11. Trademarks
CoWatch is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or any other streaming provider. Those names are used only to describe compatibility. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
